Flat calm ocean, barely a breath of wind in the air, and steady fishing. Everything about today was smooth and steady. We set out with 7 Anglers for Rockfish this morning. Some of the fish were big chunky Vermillions and Coppers, most of the others were Blues and Yellows. Every fish landed made the smiles…

Today Captain Rod, deckhand Alfredo on Chubasco reported in with limits of rockfish for 22 anglers and three crew members. The fish are hungry only took two hours to fill the boat. We also got to lingcod. See you on the boat Capt Rod
Today we scratched up 75 rockfish and one lingcod for 8 anglers. The ocean conditions were challenging but we persevered and made it happen. Thanks Daniel for running a tight deck. Capt Rod
