The Crabbing has been fantastic in Monterey Bay. Randy’s Fishing Trips checked in to report 140 Dungeness Crab and 490 Sanddab from our recent trip on February 22, 2016.
Today the Chubasco had 19 anglers Limits of Crab(190) and 700 Sand Dabs. We also had the Sur Randy with 19 anglers with 114 Crabs and 570 Sand Dabs.
Today the Sur Randy was our fishing boat and we took 20 anglers out into Monterey Bay for a day of crabbing and dabbing. We had a good score of Lots Sanddabs, 85 Dungeness Crab and 1 Petrale Sole.
Today we had a good day on the ocean. We caught Dungeness Crab, Sand Dabs and Sole. Fun was had by all.
The Dungeness Crab fishing season has finally begun in Monterey Bay, CA. Today the Chubasco out of Randy’s Fishing trips pulled in limits of Dungeness Crabs for their 17 anglers. In addition, we had lots of Sand dabs for our happy group. This was our first Crab trip of 2016. We are very pleased that the Crab fishing season has opened up.
The sanddab fishing has been great. Today we even saw a nice pod of Dolphins.
We will be fishing for Crabs starting on Saturday, February 23rd.
The Monterey Bay has been quiet this Winter but we are still having fun at Randy’s. We are running trips that target “tasty” sand dabs. Call our office or book online to get in on the action.
Got Lucky today on our Sand Dab trip and caught a Halibut!
Lots of Mackerel and Sand dabs on our fishing trip today and we even spotted Grey Whales and Dolphins out on the Monterey Bay.
