Great group of Anglers on board today. There were a few members from the Southside Anglers in San Jose with us on the Chubasco. We had a private charter today with a late start time (10am) on the Chubasco with a group from Zoetis. There were 26 anglers on board and they brought in 12 Lingcod and 130 Rockfish for the day. Really nice looking fish! Check out those Lingcod. Pictures can be found here from our facebook page.
Weather was calming down after the last wind storm, but still a little choppy out there for our rockcod trip today. We fished squid for live bait and then headed out to a few spots for rockfish and lingcod. Our 6 anglers brought home 10 Lingcod and 42 rockfish – really nice looking catches!
After a huge wind storm out on the bay causing trips to be cancelled on Saturday, we did get out in rough weather. Our 17 anglers braved the large swell and wind with us and came home with 8 large rockfish a piece – totaling up to 136 fish for the day.
Weather was beautiful this morning with a little breeze picking up in the afternoon. Our very small group of anglers brought home limits of lingcod (8 total) and 28 Rockfish on the Chubasco.
Light crowd on board today. We fished Sanddabs for live bait on the Chubasco. Our 8 anglers came in with one short of limits for Lingcod (15) and 32 Rockfish.
Nice trip today. We had a little bit of bouncy sea conditions today on the Chubasco. Our 9 Anglers brought home limits of lingcod (18) and 45 Rockfish. We fished Sanddabs for live bait.
