Aside from a bit of rolling from the mild swell, we had fantastic weather again. 20 anglers and Deckhand Reed were ready to go put some meals on reels. We started out in 200 feet of water off of Cypress point. The fish were hugging the rocks a bit. We caught some nice Blues, but the current was ripping! We had almost 1.5 knots of current…. That’s pretty not good for fishing. We pulled the lines and ran for the shallows. After getting into about 90 feet of water, we lost the current and found some schooling fish. Plenty of Blues, Gophers and some Chinas. I’m pretty sure that everyone who spent the entire time fishing had their limits. We ended up around 60%-70% limited.
