The weather and the bait fishing was just as fantastic as it has been every day for the last week. Trusty Deckhand Andrew and our 20 anglers set out in the dawn hours hoping for some flat fish. We tried the beach, we tried the coves, and we even tried on the edges of the reefs. The halibut decided that they had no interest in the assortment of gourmet baits we laid out for them. The only way those baits could have looked better is if we presented them under in a cloche (The fancy platter with a lid)
Anywho, the rockfish that we pulled off the edges of the rocks were beauties. Vermillions, Olives and a spattering of fat Blues.
