We left the dock expecting find rough weather waiting for us but when we got outside the bay it looked good. We hesitantly made our way south expecting to run into weather but never did. We didn’t quite hit our limit on fish due to time restraint but found a school of big yellowtail rockfish, bucket heads (Boccaccio) and reds (vermillion). We also picked up 6 ocean white fish 3 of which looked to be over 10lbs. A gentleman from Moro Bay Area landed 2 himself. For a day that was expected to be a rough go we sure had a great trip.
