We spent our entire morning trip waiting for the bad weather that was forecasted to show up and it finally did. Around 2:30 the wind started cranking up which made for some rough stuff. We want everyone to have a good time, so I called the shop and let everyone know that the weather was poor. After giving everyone the option to reschedule we still had 11 anglers with intentions to catch their fish. We hit the reefs west of the point for about 10 minutes before it was too rough to fish effectively. We retreated to the inside of the bay and fished until it got too rough there. The entire trip was fish, retreat, repeat. We did catch fish but it wasn’t easy. These people were pretty tough and they made it work.
