Heading out with 17 anglers and 1 ride along for the afternoon rockfish at 1500 hours. The bay greeted deckhand Alfredo, our anglers, and myself with picture perfect, flat calm conditions. The rockfish were definitely on the snap at Cypress point. Now we’re wanted dead or alive for the murder of 170 rockfish in 2 hours. The fish were coming in so fast it looked like they were jumping in the boat. Big olives, big blues, and a whole assortment of bottom fish.
