The weather picked up a bit this afternoon just as we headed outside of the bay to catch rockfish for our 17 anglers. The fish were on the bite though and the people who spent their time fishing caught their limits no problem. We ended the trip with 105 rockfish which were mostly shallow water bottom fish with olives and blues mixed in. All in all it was a good afternoon for rockfish in Monterey.
