Today started out pretty glassy in Monterey. The weather was great all morning as we were fishing deep water with a light load of 6 anglers. The fish did make us work for it, but it paid off by the end of the day. Lots of Coppers, Starries and schooling fish that were all very nice grade. Limits all around and back in Monterey by 1 pm.
When the fish aren’t trying to climb in the boat, you need to be lucky or good. Don’t worry about luck though. If you’re not the lucky type, we’ll help you get good.
