Heading out for another day of Rockfish with our resident olive oil enthusiast and Deckhand Alfredo. The weather from yesterday left us a bit worn down and hoping for a bit of a break from the big Northwest wind that has been punishing us of late. Anywho, we set off with a full boat of Anglers who were looking to get some nice fish. The wind gave us a break in the morning with a light breeze that was still accompanied by big waves leftover from last night. We caught some great quality fish out in the deep water West of Point Pinos. As is custom with local fishing there were also small fish peppered around the boat. The overall bag quality was very nice for those who fished all day. Unfortunately the leftover lump and bump that had us rolling around got the better of several of our fishers. We ended up with 165 Rock fish, 1 Petrale sole and some shaker Lings before the wind came in on us around 1 o’clock.
