Today Deckhand Kevin and I had the privilege of running a private charter for a special J&M customer and her family. Ila is a regular that celebrates her birthday with us every year. She gets her limit every year and this year was no different. If you come to the shop and take a look at the wall, you may notice a framed photo of Ila holding up a couple nice fish. Why is it so awesome to fish with her? Why is her picture on the wall? SHE’S 95! She’s always sporting a big smile and she’s a sweetheart of a person. It was great to see her catching some big vermillions and yellows again. We’re definitely looking forward to next year. All hail the Queen of Cod.
