Another great day of rockcod in the deeper water today. We ended up fishing in 300 feet of water with 25 fishers on board. The first drop we had boccacios and widows climbing all the way up to 100 feet below the boat. A steady stream of fish continued to come over the rails for the entire morning. After holding the boat over the same school of fish for 2 hours, we pulled in the lines and headed to the other side of the reef where the fish started coming in twice as fast. We ended the day with full limits of rockfish and 8 Lingcod, back at the dock by 10:30!
