Well, you always hope that everything goes easy peasy lemon squeezey. Today was difficult difficult lemon difficult. Kevin and I took out 20 anglers for a combo trip today on the Chubasco. The weather started out great as we were grinding away at the crab pots. After we ran our pots, we were still short of a crab a piece so we pulled pots from the New Horizon as it didn’t have a trip today. Once we had a crab a piece we headed out of the bay for fishing. The weather got really nasty really fast. We had to tuck back in the bay for shelter. The fishing was very tough. We ended the day with 14 Rockfish. This was one of the most difficult fishing days for my career so far. Everything can change in a day and I’m back at it tomorrow. Hopefully today was a bump in the road.
