A lazy swell from the west and a light breeze from the North greeted our private charter of 19 this morning. The fish were up in abundance and were swimming around the rocks gobbling up all the little pinhead anchovies that have inundated Monterey peninsula. The Rockfish were snapping if you could get the school to stay with the boat. Double or nothing was our motto today. Two here, two there on and off until we hit limits all around. We finished up our day by 1 o’clock with 190 Rockfish and 5 keeper lings. Not bad for a weekend in November.
