Today was a fast action day. We were heading down the coast towards Carmel bay to start our day. All along the way big schools of fish were all over the rocks we were passing over. I couldn’t stand passing over any more fish without at least seeing what they were. We dropped in on them and immediately the fish were stopping the lines. Yellowtails and Olives were coming in 2 at a time. With 11 anglers on board we had limits of fish by 8:30! It’s a good thing too because 9 out of the 11 on board were suffering from motion sickness. It was pretty lumpy on the ocean and it was foggy which can disorient most people. The bags were very nice. Every angler had a limit that consisted of almost all yellows and olives. Some of the olives were 3-4 lbs.
