The day started great, nice sea conditions, beautiful sunrise and the fish were biting. Then mother nature woke up for the day and apparently on the wrong side of the bed. We went from no wind to holding on to our hats in a matter of minutes. We were however able to hide from the weather inside the bay and i dont think our anglers were too upset about getting some ling cod on board along with our nicer weather. Limited out our bags of rockfish and ran for the crab grounds. Pretty consistent crab counts came from each trap so we know our gear is in a good spot. Now just waiting for a massive horde of dungies to come creeping through. Wound up getting 40 crab. Pile that on top of the rockfish limits and dont think anyone call that a bad day. Cant wait to get back out on friday
