Today was a pretty mellow afternoon trip for Andrew and I. We set out with a very light load of only 4 anglers. The weather was beautiful and the fish were biting. We ended up spending our time bottom fishing which produced a ton of Starry rockfish. Occasionally we would also throw in a couple of blues or yellows that hit us on the way down which was a pleasant surprise. The big fish of the trip was a nice Vermillion caught on a whole anchovy. Hopefully the weather and the fishing will this good for a long time.
